We stayed at KonkanTrip Beach Resort a week ago and it was a very memorable experience.

A little about the host/owner
• Amit was extremely receptive to our needs. He... read more made sure that our culinary preferences were taken care of.
• He has tried his best to make his resort more environmentally friendly by incorporating herbal toiletries, rainwater harvesting, solar heater etc.
• Hires locals to help him run the resort. you can see a high level of respect when he interacts with them.
• The last cyclonic storm devastated the approach road and a bit of the resort, it also threw back tons of garbage that people throw in the sea... Amit without the assistance of the local authorities has tried his best to clean up the beach himself and by hiring a JCB to help consolidate the rubbish so that it can be handled by local rag pickers. He’s trying to ensure that the surroundings are favorable to nesting sea turtles.
• You'll see him tirelessly working from 6:30am to 11:45pm ensuring that guests are comfortable.
• He is fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi and is a great conversationalist.

A little about the resort
• Very close to the beach and has a lot of privacy.
• A very quiet space. you can hear the waves if you keep the balcony doors open.
• Families/Couples will find this area very safe to stay.
• The rooms are very spacious and have all the modern amenities you would expect from a resort of this size and they are cleaned/sanitized every day.
• Wi-Fi Up/Down Speeds are very good.
• Rooms have individual air conditioners.
• TVs have DTH connections.
• Hot Water on demand.
• Delicious local cuisine.
• Spacious dining area.
• Plenty of space within the resort - used for bon fires / birthday celebrations/ parties.
• Servers/Domestic help all wear masks.
• Bottled water available.
• Plenty of parking.

Since the approach road was bust Amit had one of his helpers bring us via the Palande beach route... have fun riding your 2 wheelers on sand... def a fun experience.

  Food
Food was very good and fresh cooked with authentic Konkani taste, myself not being a fan of sea food very much enjoyed each and every meal here.
Breakfast too... read more have various options like Thalipeeth, Bread omelet, Poha,Gavana, fresh foods and Juice and its not limited to one item per person ,hence enjoying a mini buffet breakfast.
Lunch & Dinner : Amit makes sure that the menu is prior discussed with you and same is
prepared according to preference. My husband was allergic to Prawns, Amit made
sure to have a separate thali prepared for him, Even as birthday special
he made a Squid starter for my husband as he had mentioned he would like to try it and Amit
Surprised him with it. Cake was also arranged.

Amit & team made sure that both our rooms were properly cleaned and sanitised before we check in. Special shout out for cleanliness to Amit & Team.
Ambiance:
Since the proper is situated on beach itself you get an exclusive access to beach with no to limited guest on beach.
Pet Friendly:
We travelled with our Dog Bruno and Amit being animal lover himself made sure that he too enjoys his vacations and was very supportive in teams of Bruno needs.
Our overall experience at the hotel was AWESOME and we would soon be planning another trip just to relax and enjoy the hospitality of Amit and his team.

  We ( 3 families ) had recently been to Dapoli and had visited this place in Oct'21 . We were putup here for 2 full days. The bookings were done... read more by one of my friend so was aware about it much. As per our plan we spent couple of days on karde beach and then for next days moved to this place.

It was really exciting from the first minute that we entered on the beach. First of all in order to reach this place you will have to drive on the beach for good minute or so. Wow!!

The moment we reached this place Our super host Nitin welcomed us with nice smile and nice chilled local drink 'Kokam Sarbat'. We were quickly shifted to our rooms and was extremely happy to see really large and functional rooms. The moment you enter in room you will notice that everything has been kelya really nicely and most importantly it's extremely clean and neat. Just the way we like it. Before we entered in the room the AC's were already switched on so that we feel refreshed ( so, thoughtful). Bathroom was extremely clean, all sanitary items were of good quality and arranged quite well. Nitin explained us everything quite well and made sure that we are comfortable.

From here onwards we couldn't realise how quickly our two dayswere already over. In these two days we were showered with tasty Breakfast, mouth watering lunch and never ending dinner. Everything was perfect in the food. Nitin and his team made sure that the food was served just the way we all wanted . We like traditional Kokani food and these guys made sure that we will get it. He kept suggesting us menus and helped us to plan it better. Fish lover from our group were over the moon as preparation was exceptional. Even veg dishes that they surve were extremely tasty . Kudos to this guy. Can go on and on .

Now.somethign about location. This is the main USP on this place. This is quite near to main road but at the same.time quite secluded as well. Simply loved the location. All we did was take dip in water- eat - sleep repeat.

Evening were made beautiful thanks to lovely lighting. We played lot of good.music danced and good 2 hours , karaoke and what not. In between all this Nitin and his guys kept us serving ( various kind of bhaji's/pakoda's , French fries for kids, barbeque etc. etc.

Nitin is a one super host who loves to take care of people and he leave no stone unturned. He likes to discuss lot of topics with you and make you feel really comfortable. He is really bothered about giving something back to nature and I appreciate this thought the most.

On the third day we were really sad that we had to leave this little paradise and go back to reality but then Nitin we will be back soon.

Improvement : Though the beach and water is quite safe and clean. There are some sections which are really filthy . Off course efforts need to be Putin at local level. But simple steps like combing the near by area once in a week would keep it in a great shape.
