We stayed at KonkanTrip Beach Resort a week ago and it was a very memorable experience.

A little about the host/owner
• Amit was extremely receptive to our needs. He... read more made sure that our culinary preferences were taken care of.
• He has tried his best to make his resort more environmentally friendly by incorporating herbal toiletries, rainwater harvesting, solar heater etc.
• Hires locals to help him run the resort. you can see a high level of respect when he interacts with them.
• The last cyclonic storm devastated the approach road and a bit of the resort, it also threw back tons of garbage that people throw in the sea... Amit without the assistance of the local authorities has tried his best to clean up the beach himself and by hiring a JCB to help consolidate the rubbish so that it can be handled by local rag pickers. He’s trying to ensure that the surroundings are favorable to nesting sea turtles.
• You'll see him tirelessly working from 6:30am to 11:45pm ensuring that guests are comfortable.
• He is fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi and is a great conversationalist.

A little about the resort
• Very close to the beach and has a lot of privacy.
• A very quiet space. you can hear the waves if you keep the balcony doors open.
• Families/Couples will find this area very safe to stay.
• The rooms are very spacious and have all the modern amenities you would expect from a resort of this size and they are cleaned/sanitized every day.
• Wi-Fi Up/Down Speeds are very good.
• Rooms have individual air conditioners.
• TVs have DTH connections.
• Hot Water on demand.
• Delicious local cuisine.
• Spacious dining area.
• Plenty of space within the resort - used for bon fires / birthday celebrations/ parties.
• Servers/Domestic help all wear masks.
• Bottled water available.
• Plenty of parking.

Since the approach road was bust Amit had one of his helpers bring us via the Palande beach route... have fun riding your 2 wheelers on sand... def a fun experience.

I believe its due to the harnai... read more fishing dock nearby. Food taste is good however you cannot expect an early morning tea till 8 am. Sad part is there is no idea vodafone network coverage and you are totally isolated. The wifi they have does not have range inside the room. No television inside the room. They do not have blankets but thick bedsheets to cover.
Hot running water in the bathroom is good.
We had stayed in a basic comfort room.
People are welcoming.

  I visited this place during long weekend of 26th Jan. and the first impression and reaction is "WOW"
We were 03 families and we booked the whole place for us.... read more I was planning to go to Dapoli and stay at "Konkantrip" since long. But due to some or the other reason it was getting delayed. Finally we were able to make it. Property is bang on beach and they have enough place where kids can play.
We reached the place around 12:30 in the afternoon and immediately after reaching we were welcomed with refreshing Kokam drink. Amit and Nikhil were concerned about all our needs, starting from suggesting us the right route to reach Dapoli to the food we wanted to have.
Food: Amit called us well in advance and made sure that food is as per our requirement. Food was ready when we reached and it was delicious. Every meal which we had was awesome and delicious.
Rooms: Rooms are neat and clean with clean linen and towels. Only issue which I could find is that there is no place for keeping luggage in the rooms.
Overall a great and relaxing place. Amit & Nikhil please keep it up.

Amit, Poonam and their kids along with Rahul and his assistant made it a special stay.Good Food, clean rooms,smiles all around, walk to beach(plonk on... read more the beach),don't think beach is dirty,it's volcanic sand so it's black.Good sit outs, hot water, kettle , basic toiletries. We ushered 2023 here. Small trek can be done on a hillock (Turtle hill). Location is Palande beach a left turn just before Nisarg restaurant( road coming from Harnai and Road coming down from Anjrele junction.

For our experience the lovely Konkan Trip Beach Resort is a perfect place Now we spend a few days here. Amit is a superb host and his team very friendly. They beyond to ensure we have a confortable stay and the food is tasty. Great place in front of the beach . We recommend to all overlanders!
